This is a rear extension and internal reconfiguration to the ground floor of a big semi detached house in New Malden. The rear of the house faces south so we designed an overhanging roof to shade the parts of the room by the full height windows and doors. A roof window gets daylight light into the new kitchen in the centre of the house.
